Who we are

Our company is best described by stories. Stories of needs that individuals and companies have, and our efforts to fulfill those needs.

There was a major food producer in South Carolina that had a production line go down. A progressive cavity pump was the problem. That line came to a halt during 3rd shift, early Saturday morning. By 9am Saturday they found the exact pump that they needed, in our inventory, listed for sale on Ebay. The purchase was easy and could be done online, but someone had to prepare the shipment and be able to find a courier and coordinate with the courier. A dozen phone calls and a few hours later the pump was being driven directly to the plant. It is not often that our customers need same day delivery, but when they do we are prepared to help.

There was a company in Australia building a new plant in the Philipines. They bought a few pieces of equipment from us, but when they continued to by more and more equipment in the US, they discovered a problem with the logistics. They were having trouble finding a company that could load the equipment safely and compactly into 40' shipping containers in a manner that was cost effective and matched their construction schedule. We worked out a deal that got the right items in the right containers and shipped at the right time. In the end we packed and shipped 6 containers of equipment over a two year period. By eliminating damage and packing the containers compactly they actually paid us more than their previous alternatives, per container, while lowering their overall costs. This is not a normal situation for us, but when customers have unique situations, we do our best to get the job done.

We regularly have customers who buy an item from our Ebay store, late on a Friday night. Many times with smaller parts they are shipped out on Saturday with USPS and are delivered Monday morning with the mail. This is our normal routine to find the best way to serve our customers.

We have some customers who need to get rid of their excess inventory in a hurry. It may be because of a quarterly inventory or it may be because of sudden space limitations. We are geared to respond to those sudden urgent needs. We are prepared to buy and remove equipment and inventory with little advance notice. We are also prepared for the predictable result of rushed removal of equipment: something got sold that should not have been sold. We have earned the trust of our regular customers by "unselling" many items that were mistakenly put on the wrong list. This is not a regular occurance but it happens to everyone now and then. We are geared up to work thru those unique difficult situations with our customers.

We have a customer in Dubai who has on a few occasions bought the same pneumatic valve from our Ebay store. It is a very small item. Apparently they searched the world over and have repeatedly found that we were their best option. Of course we do not have the solution to everyone's equipment needs, at all times.  Many people in many industries though, do find that we are one valuable option for them to keep in mind when they have needs related to equipment and industrial surplus.

We have some customers that have late model equipment that they no longer have a use for. Many times the remaining book value makes it difficult to complete an outright purchase. The equipment may also be taking up valuable floor space. In these cases it sometimes makes sense for us to sell the equipment under consignment, with the equipment stored in our warehouse until a buyer is found.
